No, I'm saying creationism has been kicked in the face so many times that serious creationists are actually quite hard to destroy, as every time somebody like you proves them wrong they just re-write the theory, leaving out the hole you just pointed out. As such there are few holes left in the serious theory.
And they have also found holes in evolution. And as nobody takes these holes seriously (mostly because they are wrong) they have not been removed. As such the odds are a serious creationist could find a hole in evolution quicker than you could find a flaw in the evolved theory of creationism

Re: Religion
No, no they haven't. They've found what they want to be holes in evolution. Not actual holes.neoraptor wrote:And they have also found holes in evolution.
There is a difference between seeing what you want to see, and seeing what is actually there.

Re: Religion
Assuming that there is a God, and assuming that he is the super-powerful pan-dimensional creator of everything he says he is, and assuming that He is the Christian God, and assuming Jesus existed, and assuming he was God in human form then it seems reasonable that he could raise the dead etc.
Going still on these assumptions I ask you, is this the best thing He could've done?
"I'm going to sacrifice (though I don't see how he sacrificed anything) myself to myself to forgive these peoples sins I came up with and save them from a system I created which demands a blood sacrifice for forgiveness (because it is beyond the ken of omni-everything God to just say "I forgive you" despite preaching that) and will give them infinite punishment for not loving me and give them infinite rewards for being gullible and following my teachings unquestionably (despite these being only finite actions gaining infinite rewards). And the best way to convince these people is to turn up as a carpenter and walk on water to a few witnesses who aren't verifiable or accurate, or even agree with each other. Being omin-whatever I know that people will eventually come to doubt this, but I don't care because there will be still some who believe and give me spiritual hand-jobs, (which isn't petty at all) and those who disbelieve can be cast into the fires of eternity, because despite being the creator of everything I have nothing better to do than punish puny ants who doubt me because I provided feck-all for evidence and refuse to accept me as their Lord and Master based on what evidence & gifts I gave them"

Re: Religion
as a correction, Jesus wasnt god, he was his son, so really he gave his only son for us, just a correction.

No, he was God in human form. The "son of God" was to distinguish him from the others in the trinity
