Russia threatens Poland and The United States with nuclear action.

In August 2008, Poland agreed to help the US install a missile shield in Europe. Following the announcement Russia threatened that if Poland continued to help the US they would take nuclear action, including releasing the largest nuclear bomb the world has seen (more then 100 megatons, the best the US can get is about 30 megatons). As of 2009, Russia has once again released a statement saying they will stay loyal to their previous announcement and that it is only a matter of time. Could this be the beginning of World War 3? The world rule of the Russian Federation? or the end of the world? Please discuss below

But think, is Russia justified? If you have multiple nations in your country setting Missie shields so you have no chance of being able to fire missiles at them if it came to it, then you had a huge foreign nation helping them, it was seem there is an impending attack on you.

Actually No one new Russia had a 100 megaton bomb until they detonated it on a testing run, imagine what other weapons the could have secretly been developing over the last 40 years.

But i think Russia is justified, why must the US but into foreign affairs with Poland, we have enough to worry about in our own country.

First of all, their largest bomb was only 50 megatons (and that was nothing more then a propaganda stunt, not an actual weapon). Second of all, they've been in fairly bad shape for the past ten years. I doubt they've been developing anything we don't already have.

actually there is a reason that the US is only able to create weapons to a certain extent, we made a treaty some time ago that stated that we are 2 stay at around a certain level on technology so that we wont have the ability to try what Hitler did during WW2 since we increase our level of technology so quickly or something along those lines........ i cant exactly remember.

witch king, Russia did make a 100 megaton bomb, Tsar Bomba, search it if you must, and Russia as of last year, has fully recovered from the financial crisis in the 1980's, and is planning on building the worlds tallest building, Russia Tower, as well as devoting 20 billion dollars to infrastructure repair.

just for clarification, Tsar Bomba was 100 megatons, but Russia did not know the effects of a bomb of that size, as well as, it would cause panic among the other nations, so they reduced the yield to 50 megatons before detonation.

we know what Russia's strongest weapon most likely is, the same two things u mentioned on the chat box, we on the other hand are not even told by our own government what they do and can do.

yes, but because we know what Russia has doesn't mean it is the mots powerful weapon, they could also be hiding much more.
