Did you only just realise, its old news
IMO its just going to be an opportunity for the government to make a spectacular ****-up.
Not with the budget, I don't give a dam how much it costs me as long as it is awesome. I hate people who complain about the budget. Do you think we'dve gone to the moon, found America if people had been worried about the bottom line.
Nah, just look at the logo. It sucks big time. I can only hope the stadiums will be real pretty.
I want to go. Apparently some of the football will be at Villa park (where my team play) so I might go see them. But I really want to see the Olympics in London, I hope we get lots of medals again.

the only problem with Britain getting the olympics directly after china is that it will be near impossible to do something as good as what the Chinese did.

We can. Quite easily in fact. However, with the current government, then the odds are no. Why? Because it will be some PC, 'elf & safety, multi-cultural bull.
