Ultimate game system

You couldn't have Halo on the wii, it wouldn't cope with the graphics, amongst other things

it would still be cool.......................................halo is probably the only that would make me go for a xbox......but still.

Dead Space and Gears of War are actually pretty amazing. And i can't wait for Halo Wars and Halo 3 Recon!

The only reason the orignal Halo was succesful was that its had such a revoloutinary control system. The franchise is going too far

Both of them are way different from the main series. Wars is a real time strategy and Recon is based on working with the rest of the group (you are not a spartan, just a regular soldier) and being sneaky and quiet, which is why most of your weapons are silenced now.

I know that they are different. Wars I doubt will work. It takes a lot to make a futuristic strategy game work. Thats why most are set in the past. If it works, it will be great, but I doubt it will.
I need more about Recon, but it looks just like a spin-off for money. Surely this could just've been a gameplay option in halo 3 or something?

No. it's a new story going on in new mombasa during the time of Halo 2, maybe halo 3. Many troops are coming down in pods but they are wiped out by a covenant EMP. Your guy is delayed and lands in the already devastated city. As you emerge a group of brutes are patroling and you hide in the shadows. As you do the City's AI turns on arrows pointing you away from danger, signifying it has a role much like cortana.

Supreme Commander was a future RTS and it is one of the best ones out there, if not the best.

Hmm, the recon sounds quite good. At first it sounded like some lame spin off
SupCom was good, but if you look at it there are few of that nature. If it's going to work it should be CoH style with little-no building and resource collecting

It looks like the economy system is much like Sins of a Solar Empire. and all you have to build is you base, the base manufactures everything else.

I like the story arc of halo, the story is just epic, so I aproove Halo, not t mention Xbox 360 is less expensive, has better quality, and is more of an entertainment platform. I vote yes on 360.

How on earth did you arrive at that conclusion. The 360 has some dire quality stuff as it has to be compressed in order to fit on those tiny discs. And it lost the format war.

It lost the format war, so Xbox is inferior.... no.. I can't even tell you how many problems the PS3 has, mainly most of its games are unknown and bad. Only good ones exlucisive are mirors edge and the resistance series, but thats about it for most casual gamers. Big hit for the ps3, stick with live, you have netflicks and in a couple of months, internet browser. Other then that, PS3 its seccond place, good choice, not as bad as the wii, which just has the same graphics engine as the Gamecube.

Uncharted, Warhawk, Gran Turismo. They might not be well known, but once you do know them then you know that they are awesome.

Already got it. And we're getting home soon, and we don't need to buy extra stuff to do blu-ray or wireless internet, or internet. So yeah, 360 is cheaper, but then you have to buy a shed load of stuff to bring it to the same level as an out of the box Ps3

Yes, the graphics engine for the PS3 is obselete, it doesn't have a bigger store, and live doesn't cost so much, only like 5 bucks a month.

Obsolete? The highest graphical output setting for the 360 is 32 bit, compared to the PS3's 128bit
