Re: Vampires
Just because it makes a good nick-name doesn't make it real.
Vampires are obviously a legend.

Re: Vampires
I do believe Dracula (the vampire) was real but i need more evidence to decide whether they are real or not.
Re: Vampires
He was based, if I have my facts correct, on Vlad the Impaler. A rather nasty bloke who did exist.
But vampires, as in undead, blood-sucking creatures do not

Re: Vampires
I'm torn between the two options........I think we all know what Alice would say................................but I'm closer to real....but not dracula real....something more probable
Re: Vampires
Vampires as a super-natural creature do not exist any more than Werewolves or other weird beings
The concept of Vampires could have arisen for a number of reasons, like the idea of a flat earth could have arisen for a number of reasons
VAMPIRE REASONS
Not to mention the fact that Dracula was first mentioned in a STORY, based on another STORY written for a GHOST WRITING COMPETITION

Re: Vampires
you have strong opinions don't you? yeah....I take what I said back...but not because of you...
Re: Vampires
dracula WAS based on Vlad Tepes, Prince of Wallachia, who was also known as "Vlad the Impaler" or "Vlad Dracula"

Vampires
I'm just trying to nip the whole idea of vampires existing in the bud, before people start blindly ranting on about how they feel and believe that they are realJasper Hale wrote:you have strong opinions don't you?
Re: Vampires
okay.........I wasn't contradicting you or anything..........and I personally despise people that re so absorbed by their beliefs...its not fun to talk to them....its all they think about.....not fun

It may not be fun to talk too, but it can be amusing to argue!
*Sits back at computer waits for somebody to contradict me about vampires*
Re: Vampires
hehehe..your right.......good luck on that.....though Alice may....no, scratch that, Alice WILL....hehe

Re: Vampires
Not really. See, you can love the character, but you cannotbe in love with him. When loving a concept you love the concpet, but are not in love with it. Like:
"I love cake" not "I'm in love with cake"
Back towards interesting debate, and away from the disturbing realm of philosiphy: Are you for, or against vampires existing?

Re: Vampires
Me? I don't know..........not in the general sense of the word...but still, I'm against myself...
Re: Vampires
How is there any argument for the existance of a vampire?
They are not real like zombies, werewolves and ogres.

Re: Vampires
zombies are real
i heard of this disease that makes people die, the "revive" then die again. but not being a brain eating zombie, of course

Re: Vampires
Sentances are always usefil forege.
If you must post something at least finish the thought rather than leaving it hanging.
Nosferatu was actually a 1922 silent film about vampires, and it was called Nosferatu because they couldn't get the rights to Dracula.

Re: Vampires
Excellent, sprinkle in a bit of grammer and you'll be a useful and respected member of the community.ill try to finish with sentences in the future
Nosferatu is actually meant to be very good. The 'classic' vampire movie, which spawned many of the vampire stereotypes, such as not being able to go out in the sunlight. And since it is very old it's in public domain, which means you could download it for free, 100% legally!
Back to the point, I am 99% certain vampires don't exist (which is the most you can be, since its impossible to be certain about anything outside of mathematics).
