I know, and you did the right thing then. Rust needed to cool down.Teen-Rex wrote:I wasent the only one that voted him out...i only do what i am told and i was told to delete.
But he's back now and so he has a new chance. Give it a while, see what happens, and if he steps out of line by even a smidgen then I have no problem with you banning him back to the stonage
Re: Capitalism is dead

Not always not always, small buisnesses. example a store opened from support of the family next to your house, quite place, "Grandmas Apple Pie cooking," captalistic, does that make that family and quite little family store evil??

Which is then bought out by Wal-mart, who build a superstore and employ the original owners at the minimum wageexample a store opened from support of the family next to your house, quite place, "Grandmas Apple Pie cooking,"

Re: Capitalism is dead
Whether your society is capitalistic or socialistic in design really matters far less than the nature of the people making up your society. If the citizens of a national are just at heart, then in a capitalist society there will not be such Walmart buyouts. If the citizens of a nation are unjust at heart, then your communistic system will fail because no one is willing to work for his neighbor when his neighbor will not work for him.
As far as the war in Iraq, you cannot blame every problem in the world on that. Many problems existed before the war, and many will exist after the war is concluded. The problems of the world are of varying origin. As far as the recent or current economic insanity, I would think that the application of logic would show that domestic issues are a much better explanation, or at least explain more.

Re: Capitalism is dead
In all honesty I think capitalism breeds the unjust heart you reffered to.
Think, what incentive does Mr Big have to help others?
Everything is profit driven, and when the system you are exploiting fails to keep pace with your drives for cash (think the banking system) well, then you've seen what happens

Re: Capitalism is dead
but the system runs itself, if it fails, the system is not to blame but the people that do something to make the system fail (the big 3, insurance offices etc)
Re: Capitalism is dead
But the system allowed the collapse to take place
If someone stabbed someone else near a police station, you would blame the murder, but also the police for not catching him
