We have the memorials, 11th November etc. but we shouldn't forget what they stand for because then the horrors will begin anew

But this is different. Whole generations were wiped out in a morning.
The country was devoid of teenagers for a few years as they were in graves in France
Stuff like this should not be forgotten, and it shan't be.

horrible moments in history like that shall never be forgotten, as an evolving species we do learn from our mistakes, we as a world power would fight back against anything or anyone that ever tried that again. it shall not be forgotten, that is why we have memorials and books, so that we can remember and try to learn from the mistakes of the past.
